    City of Heroes released before WoW. And it was an amazing underrated game.

    No one wants to kill WoW, and no Dev has said that was the goal.  People that enjoy WoW can stay there and keep enjoying it.

     

    WoW is losing subs, but it will not die, the argument is stupid.  EQ is still around, UO is still around, does that mean WoW is a failure, because it did not shut every other game down?
