Mage aiming class?

DrigusDrigus Member CommonPosts: 50
I'm looking for a mmo with a mage class that requires you to aim rather than having to target and cast; something similar to Skyrim. The only games I can think of are Darkfall and Raiderz. I have no intention of playing either of these. Are there any other games out there like this?

Neverwinter is probably the best choice for crosshair-based ranged combat. Not to say it's a great game, but it's decent.

Darkfall is the best out of any of the ones that allow that, but since you don't want that.. Neverwinter has a crosshair auto aim system. It's free aim sadly, you hover near a target and it auto hits even if your not aiming near the persons char. It's really lame IMO but its got it...

Tera? Same sort of thing as neverwinter..

Only MMO with a full mage aiming class is Darkfall.

On top of it not being a great game, it really doesn't have crosshair aiming.  Yes it has a crosshair but it employs sticky targeting so whatever your crosshair is near will select the target...it's not the same as real crosshair aiming where you can miss on attacks.
