An interview on RockPaperShotgun with the lead dev of the DayZ standalone talking about how Eve and The WarZ have and are influencing design decisions for the game. Eve is a template for how they'd like to see the game play. It's going to take awhile, but I think they are headed in the right direction with the game.

I think DayZ SA will not be like DayZ mod and are not heading the right direction hardcore wise and solo or small group play.
I have my doubs now with the vision dean have with game i think he is making it over complicated and game is more of devs dictate what you should do.
Forced group-trade
Dungeons and bases that eventually hold by clans are safezones.
Solo seems as i understand him, not very viable option anymore even small team like with friend most of map will be controlled by clans.
Super rare weapons you prolly never will see becouse also in possesion of bigger clans and never respawn untill one die and you can loot them, that never gonne happen for small groups the clan mates just simply loot the weapon.
Its more becomming a mmo like game.
Mod was awesome and unique becouse of total freedom just drop on beach and try to survive.
Stand alone won't be like that for many reasons.
Hope im wrong but i dont have much hope it will be close to mod(and i dont mean stupid origin modifications i mean pure hardcore survial version) hardcore survival.
If stand alone will be force group play forced trade ill keep playing the mod and leave standalone to cassuals.
