    the world fron .hack.

even though they cant do the PS2 or the show version entirely. just cus Xp not divided=lots of powerleveling. NO DATA BUGS, VIRUSES, or HAROLDS or MORGANNAS.

also u need to be able to get attacks, spells, and abilities from leveling not just equipment.

but besides that if they made it like i said i would be happy, not to mention my life would be more or less complete.

Ghost in the Shell MMORPG would be good.

Or if you've ever seen the movie Appleseed you'd know that would make a awesome MMORPG set in that sort of atmosphere.

I agree with the creator of this thread, an Naruto MMORPG would be so awesomely sweet, they could achieve so much with some thing like that, just keep Gravity out of it, I don't think they need to make any more MMORPGs except Ragnarok Online 2, that one looks super sweet.

    Transformers, of course.

Guild Wars is still an MMO.

Westworld could be a great mmorpg (maybe not the best for crafting and trade tho, but i'm sure that could be added too). I think it's a natural for roleplaying, pvp, pve with a Western World, Medieval World, and a Roman World. All-in-one, Disneyland-style. Perhaps there could be other worlds too.

A gang style MMO. Maybe there already is one but it can't be anygood if i haven't heard of it. I think it would be awesome to pay for missionaries and depending on your gang's rep, you may be offered free recruits. I think it would be pretty awesome to have it in the World and have real life continents(China, America, Asia) and have different kinds of gangs.

    Yay. :D

My dream MMO... EVE Online, except being able to explore planets as well. Far off, but that would be just too incredible. I know EnB did that... sort of, but planets were basically places you could look around before going to a planet-bound station. I want to truely explore each planet.

    Dune MMO.

Or Warcraft MMO.  (WoW is not what I call warcraft).

Like resource gathering,  army building,  and war.

    on second thought

    OUTLAW STAR

sry for the big letters, but it would have gun fights, magic, crafting, ship combat, exploration of planets, racing(spaceracing), swords, martial arts. and at least 5 or 6 races(i know only three mentioned, but mutants, halfbreeds, and they had androids, and i think u could replace ur own limb with robotic ones.

also the PS2 game armored core might be cool

    World of Ravenloft

    edit:

Or, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Could do some...interesting things with that one. image

Ya dekron... Ravenloft would rule. Love that setting for the pnp ADand D. I was going to Say Krynn ( Dragonlance ) setting. Love that land... I have read the D&D mmorpg stuff on the net and it looks interesting but they should have chosen a better world to use for this. Just my 2 cents.

Underworld. Rathma might like that. image But of course, devs would gimp out and not implement PvP so you would have Lycans and Vamps grouping up taking on the mixed breeds or something.

Yeah I would have to say Dune also. I think awhile back there was a thread about how it could be implemented. Everything is already in there in the books: the factions, different planets, "races," vehicles, sweet weapons... Problem with it is the books are so ambitious and complex that it would be hard to create a game that would do it justice. If someone had the talent and time to do it right though, I know it would be my favorite MMORPG.

Ameba MMORPG. I think it would be fun being a blank microorganism and then choosing your side (white blood cell or virus) and the game would have permadeath but you could use mitosis to split and when you died your other half would be playeable (only carry on 3/4ths of your skills though)
