Later phases of phase 3 should open up to longers periods of time, but I feel your pain :P

Not this weekend but the next and final part of Phase 3 is said to last "several days." Not very specific but it implies we'll at least get to play on Sunday.

its goign to be three more weekends of testing considering one site said july 14th is end of phase 3

I was a 1.0 CE hard copy owner. For me and a hundred thousand more this is a demo to try to get us back. SE KNOWS that if they dont get us back the game WILL flop again. So IT IS A DEMO. Without the free demo time I would never have even looked twice at FF ever again as an mmo. You mad I get 2.0 for free too?

I agree because i was trying to work towards a decent level so i could get decent crafting gear but i have had no time to try crafting yet.I also need time to become well versed with the classes and skills,like any game that is really important to not only understand yourself but what other players are doing as well.

Yea. Im really enjoying the game, but Im not too upset about not having more time. More time in the beta just means more time invested in a character thats going to get wiped. Why bother getting everything done, just to have to start all over again. This is a beta, not a demo (you know who you are). 

 

Now open beta, thats a different story. When that comes around, then I will start developing my character. Usually Open Betas dont get wiped, and Im pretty sure thats the case here. Which should be Phase 4, somewhere near mid July. That should also be a more open schedule, possibly even a full 24/7 server time, with small maintenance.

 

If youre getting attached to the character you have now in beta, youre doing it wrong. Sometime in the next couple weeks those characters will be gone, and we will all be starting over. Sorry if that burts your bubble..

Not sure what site says it ends on the 14th but I just finished reading this from the beta site, written by Yoshi himself (or whoever translates for him. It has test 1 and test 2 which already passed, Test 3 which starts tomorrow, and under that its the Final Test. Seeing as how the time between phase 2 and 3 was almost 2 months id say its about time they started code crunching while preparing for Open Beta.
