US government sanctioned backdoors in encryption protocals

In the vein of now acknowledged illegal spyware/programs from us agencies...
techarp documented a Feb 2013 police powerpoint presentation that was allegedly to present updates to combat "child pornography" (and is now being used to basically spy on everybody.)
In this case it was a presentation about efforts to bypass encryption found in common protocals (bitlocker, filevault, truecrypt, bestcrypt, ect.)
