Shadowbane 10day trial

Hello everyone!

I followed the links from the news message here at mmorpg.com and downloaded the file. download completed without problems.

when i try to execute the file (it's a 500+ mb executable zip) it doesn't work. when i try to open it with winZip it says "file corrupted". I've downloaded it 5 times so far and always the same!!!

I also don't get a registration code, neither via email nor in my browser window!

Can anyone help??

I'm having the exact same problem. I don't get it, they offer a 500mb blank thing taking up space?

I'm getting the same thing.  I've downloaded it a few times myself thinking it was Gigex,  but it wasn't.

I'm really shocked that they can't even get a file to work,  this isn't giving Shadowbane a good name...

I had the same problem on my pc...and on a mac you can't even download it. IE doesn't load the downloader, and Safari tries to download the downloader.

You dont need a corrupted file to give SB a bad name. You want PvP? This game is not for you, its based around PvP sure, but there is a couple things 1. Usually a server is owned by 1 or 2 allied guilds. 2. Its all based on numbers and level 3. The game is buggy, slow, and laggy. 4. No content, no quests 5. Repetism.

I use to play this and I also BETA tested it,  I wanted to see how the "new" patches are.

For SB? A 1. The game atm, is really the low end of MMRPG's, well, well known ones that is, now if it was removed, i'd say SWG.

For SB less than 1 star...

don't even take the time and trouble to find out how to download it right, it just plain sucks, not worth your time..

Ya I downloaded the trial to, but when I tried to open a dos window opens for a sec then dissapears.  Like whats up with that?

1 out of 5, SB is a very EASY 1.  The games graphics engine is 5 years old, and it shows.  Gameplay is terrible, one of the worst ive used.  Can't believe I wasted any of my time in that game.  I honestly had a ton more fun playing online battleship.  That's how bad SB is.

Never play a game by unfunded developers whos game and company were formed in somones basement.

takes longer then that to learn the damn UI. play the game then you can talk crap. if not just keep quiet.

Shadowbane owns every mmorpg when it comes to pvp   been playin from the day it came out.

Unless you plan on paying for just a couple of months before you wonder "why did I pay for this game?", I'd suggest to those that are trying it out to steer clear of this game once your trial period is up.

This game had potential but it blew it big time and is a sinking ship.(when a game starts giving out free trials you know it's in trouble)  This game is only for a niche group of gamers.

Server populations declining do not bode well and they probably should combine servers like AC2 did.
