Well i do'nt normally comment on how good a game is because ive only just had the p.c a month.....( old x-box player ) I say x because since ive found WOW if have not look at a game since.......( sorry EVE-ONLINE ) it's more additive than crack cocaine......it should be banned .....lol

It's torn the family apart, produced sleep deprivation, and caused me to lose my job................can i sue for having to much fun..?

    yes i want to sue rose online, kal online, knight online and A3 for having to much fun and  ripping my life apart but who cares we are having fun its wat life is about..

     

    (life not about spending 24 hours on pc  7 days a week and 365 days a year)

    WoW = Extremely addicting for a month at the most (usually 3 weeks)

    after that you wish you never bought it. Boring after a while...you will see what I mean.

    Play a real mmorpg.

     It is NICE you have found a mmorpg that you enjoy!

    But realize that WoW is the only mmorpg you have played. So you have nothing to compare it to. LOL! IMHO WoW is one of  the nicest MMORPGs out. image It 100% reeled in its intended target audiance and target market - the millions of Blizzard fans.

    You have not played UO, AO, DAoC, SWG, EQ, AC, EQ2, As2, and many, many, others that are successful hits. image

    I have also been a part of all those games : ) some good times...

    I'd have to say though some of them are trash. AC was the only true mmorpg and its still going strong today.

    World of Warcraft... Heh its okay. I got bored of it after I hit 40 on my druid. Don't know why but it's appeal just always lost when i hit a milestone. As far as the other MMORPGs go, Id have to go with EQ.

    Forget all these people who are trying to rain on your parade, if WoW is the best game ever "for you" enjoy. Many of us are still looking for our own private "Holy Grail" of mmog's ourselves.

    I have played those other games and at this time I believe WoW is the best out. At times though I do not feel like playing it but I guess that is because you play soo much at once then get burnt out. I felt like that on every mmorpg iv'e played so far. I am having great fun with it so until I see better WoW is the One.

    i have been playing everquest2 since first month and i dont not see myself stopping soon WoW gets boring after like a month but everquest2 never gets boring for me  imageimageimage

    Despite all my hatred of the game, I never wish I didnt buy WoW.  They deserve support and a little money hehe...but I never pay even 1 month of subscription...if they want me to, they will have to go back to their homeworks and work harder!  image

    If you ask me i'd compile a top 5 list

    1.Everquest 2
    2.Final Fantasy 11
    3.Dark Age Of Camelot
    4.Star Wars Galaxies
    5. World of warcraft

    I personnally do not like WoW Because i haven't played it but i do not like warcraft at all
    after playing WC3 I was fustrated with its cheezy graphics,

    HOW IS WOW EXTREMELY GOOD GRAPHICS
    ITS WC3 GRAPHICS COMON!!!

    Eq2,ff11,swg have 10 times the better graphics than wow does IMO *In my opinion*
    I'm sorry but i dislike World Of Warcraft
    I'd rather play the other 4 anyday anytime,

    That is some wisdom let me tell you.  I played WoW from day 1 and a very short time later I came to the realization that it's a 10 year old version of most other MMOs out there.

    Oh it tries to distract you with its sexy night elf dances and "Blizzard" on the box as if to say, "You love me...you love everything about me."  However, it's just trying to make you feel all warm and cozy. image image

    Until you cancel your subscription, you are only helping to continue the cycle of mediocrity.

    Actually it lasts roughly 2-3 months if your a casual player.

    And it's a good thing the thread starter called it "THE GREATEST GAME ON THE PLANET", because I heard mars has some pretty good massively multiplayer games as well.

    i say WoW ftw....and when yur tired of that, try out CoH or EQ2, and when yur tired of that, play some SwG, and by that time some new shit's out...

    I'm almost the opposite- EQ2 was no fun at all, I didn't think, an dlasted me about a week. Once I hit the post-10 experience grind and was essentially forced to group, it just died. The only good part was making one character for each city and exploring the cities- after that, it was kill 100 gnolls, kill 300 gnolls, kill 1000 gnolls....bleah.

    WoW lasted me 2 months, until I got both an aliiance and horde character into the high 20s before I finally got burned out.

    Ah, well, there's still Eve, Shot Online, and Mound & Blade!

    WOnderful!  I hope you enjoy your stay in WoW as much as i did.  That being your first MMORPG you should also try out some others.

    The only MMORPG that ever had me addicted got cancelled...Wish. Unless something else comes along similar to that, I just dont know if I'll find something that'll draw me in that way again. I've tried DAoC, EQ, EQ2, WoW, AC2 (not 1), L2, L1, UO, CoH...nothing comes close for me.

    I would have to say either World of Warcraft or Counter-Strike. I am playing alot of WoW right now but there is millions playing Counter-Strike too::::03::

    I found WoW to be great mindless fun for a month but after a while it really lacked depth and challenge at the end.

    Game is very easy to catch on and lot of the stuff is spoon fed to you which will be a great thing for the console/bnet types.
