The closing arguments went on today and so we are close to a verdict from the Trayvon Martin shooting that occured over a year ago.  I was curious to see what a sample of MMO gamers thought.  Please keep discussion civil.  I'm mostly interested in the poll results.

They could probably have convicted him of manslaughter, but since they went for murder 2, there is a good chance he will walk. His story isn't solid, but the prosecution failed to come up with a reasonable scenario that fits the evidence.

Unfortunately, thanks to the media twisting the facts about this case, I think that there are likely to be riots over this matter either way.

I honestly don't think he could have ever had a fair trial regardless of outcome.  Who the heck doesn't know who he is? What m.s.m. source didn't put their own spin on the whole situation over and over again.  Didn't watch personally and I really don't care at this point. Just sick of media outlets putting their bias on top of every single story they write.  Maybe media's always been like this and I am simply just getting more and more  tired of it the older I get.

Edit: Was watching twitter when the verdict came out. Actually I was reading someone else's timeline when they released the verdict( didn't know it was already that far into the trial). Freaking crazy how many people just made death threats on him after it did come out. Can thank the media for that crap and their wanting to use this for their personal agenda. So far I've seen multiple death threats on the jury members, Zimmerman, and his attorney's. Crazy.
