1. Is it playable as solo unclanned? I don't like zerging around. I like playing alone.
2. Are housing spots still available?
3. If so, are they builtalbe for solo players? Don't I have to be in a clan's territory to build house?
4. How are the hacking problem? CheatEngine ruining it? I checked MO, they are ruined with CheatEngine speedhack.
5. Are there non-player cities that I can dwell comfortably as a solo-unclanned player?

1. Yes, but you miss a majority of what the game offers by doing this. Its a sandbox, so theres no storyline quest chain to go though alone and enjoy it. You can solo but its not nearly as fun and you really miss the point of the game doing this.
2. Yes housing spots are available...but you have to buy them from another player now. Housing is over rated in this game, and is just used for a secondary bind/recall location. Very limited functionality to housing and anything good related to housing is a dumb luck drop from a random chaos chest or mob drop...no crafting for the really good housing stuff. Don't play this game for player housing its not like most games.
3.Player housing is available in independent villiages and clans fight over the control stone for resources but has no bearing on its residents.
4. Go to http://www.unholybanhammer.com they catch the cheats and publicly post them. As this game is a clan politics based game a few cheaters banned from one clan can turn the server against them. Cheating isn't nearly as bad as the first game.
5. There are three safe zone NPC cities that will offer you the means to build your bank and character for the most part. Good rare essences to make high end gear, and harder mobs worth more prowress can be found outside of the safe zone. As is everything fun with the game.
In all honesty as an avid fan of the game I can safely say that if you chose to ignore the clan aspect, and the socialization...as well as not wanting to deal with unsafe areas...you probably want to avoid the game.
Yeah there are a decent amount of people who don't mind semi-afk harvesting and crafting in the safe zones...but then they are typically in clans and socializing though voice chat while doing this....
If your not going to rage at spending the $20 for a month on the game give it a try but I don't think youll like the game. I suggest to everyone that getting into a clan within the first hour of play is vital to sticking with the game...and to expect to suck just as bad at pvp as a noob character in crap gear as a high prowress high end geared character...youll need a clan for friendly duels to get decent at pvp...and few roam solo and farm solo...so chances are youll be outnumbered every time.
