I'm actually really happy they are keeping this game tight lipped. In fact I hope the only people that get to see it before launch are those that were selected for beta testing to actually test the game. Give us maybe 1 week of open beta as a 'free trial' effort, and then release the game. Leave some mystery. Only allow paid beta testers access to things like mid-end game content. Allow us to have something to explore, and not know everything there is to know about the game before we even play it. It's like opening a birthday gift and already knowing what's inside. Leaves us nothing to look forward too.
-I understand this is not a popular message to say on these forums. Chances are a lot of people will disagree. That's fine. It won't change my mind that this is a big part of the reason MMOs are failing.
looks like MMO industry´s best kept secret, no leaks no nothing
Even the people who saw the presentation say nothing except OMG 10/10
The fact is SoE got their A months mixed up. The "reveal" is that the game doesn't exist. August Fools.
That is why there's no screenshots or leakage.
How hilarious would it be if Smed got up there in a tux and playfully recounted all the grief he got for SoE's past. He tells everyone to enjoy the festivities and exits left just before a big black box gets wheeled out to the center of the stage. Never heard before rendition of EverQuest music starts and the sides drop from the box, queue Rick Roll music as it's Smed giving everyone the bird.

Ok that would be pretty hilarious.
He did that already years ago with a previous MMO.
