I still dont see what yo uguys find so great about Eve....All I did was sit in a tin can spinning around clicking on stuff.....If thats your idea of fun then great, but I really doubt they are going to make EQN like that....If they're smart they go back to their best times: Classic EQ and pre-NCU SWG and find a way to combine those and make it work.......

Aside from the tin can it sounds like how I used to play EQ.

you either didnt try very hard or else went into it expecting the worst.
eve is constantly in the verious 100 best games ever lists because of the way it has succeeded in bringing its world alive.
the best example of this: the eve TV show (yes, they're making one) will not be based on official CCP fluff but rather on the stories of the players themselves have had over 10 years of playing this treasure of a game.
this level of immersion and freedom to create our own epic saga is why folks want "the fantasy eve".
RIP Ribbitribbitt you are missed, kid.
Currently Playing EVE, ESO
Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed.

you didnt wear armor ?
not all of us in eq1 wore tin cans.
some of us wore cruddy armor, but luckily could heal ourselves, then leech our own health to get more mana, then heal everyone else, then heal ourselves, then leech our own health, then apply a 5 minute 75% Attack speed debuff, then do the mana thing again.....
...anyone else miss their EQ shammi?

Haha Ya like Itchmon says, I had the cruddy stuff.
I recall my "armor" was a shirt with two little pine tree fresheners on it. I had a bard I liked that would just run around in circles while bears nipped at my heels and I slowly clicked buttons until they died. The process took about 2 hours per bear but I got it done eventually. It was fun.

some people would find fun, running around in circles with a stick hanging around their backs.

Unfortunately, this doesn't mean that, at the end of the day, anyone wants to play it...
