It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
I've gotten a trial key, and now I'm going to install the game. I downloaded the file, and double clicked and started installing and everything, but there's a major and very dumb flaw. I want to install in my drive (it's not my CD drive, just another hard drive) because that's where I put my program files. So I specified a path, and I thought all was good. HOWEVER it appears that for some dumb reason the EVE installer first extracts everything into C:Documents and Settings
ameLocal SettingsTemp before copying over to the destination path.
This simply will not work. This is because my C: drive at the moment only has 568 MB free space available. The EVE installer needs 1GB. What can I do to get it to extract to a different path? Otherwise I cannot install this game.
Thanks!

This isn't a CCP issue and is no problem to fix, change your "temp" directory to somewhere on your drive. If you are on XP...
Right click My Computer>Properties>Advanced Tab>Environment Variables button. there is a TMP and TEMP, edit them to be ... I would use D:Temp but whatever.
Reboot and you should be all set.
