Like - Not a lot of flash or light show. Not a chaotic mess of a battle. The characters and environments looked good.
Dislike - 1st person looked awful. Are those hands or sticks of wood? I know they wanted to give the 'look its Skyrim', but it just pointed out how different it is. The combat animations were not very good and were very limited. Monsters appeared static.
I think if you did not like skyrim you wont like ESO, I liked that it looked very much like Skyrim obviously the gfx where turned down a notch or two. I'll give it a whirl but would of liked to have seen some daylight action and some townvillage action.
This game won't last a year without a huge change in structure/lay offs/CEO change..stuff of that kind. I wouldn't be surprised if it fails harder than SWTOR did.
I bet the contrary. They are going to sell massive amounts of copies and if they do RVR right, people will stick around.
I will buy the collectors edition even if I think it might not be great. I have logged over 700+ hours in Skyrim and I at least owe them a solid. I do think the game will be fun tho. I enjoyed beta as well.

A good portion of the complaints about ESO can be applied to any Elder Scrolls game (choppy animation, one dimensional combat). I'm not a fan of the series, but I'm more likely to give ESO a try because it has RvR combat and it's not World of Minecraft, I mean EverQuest Next. It's an MMO with a focus on killing stuff rather than building stuff, which is fine with me.

The opposite of the above poster. After I saw Everquest I went to the Next big name TESO. Looks like TESO has the looks of a mmorpg that gives you the immersion and ability to role play as a real gamer and not as children playing with dolls.

My thoughts exactly. EQN makes this and every other game look bland.
For example: something as simple as having static spawns for NPC's seems so outdated now. Knowing what's coming in EQN, I don't know if I can even play a mmo with static spawns anymore.
Horrible animations and way too much brown killed it for me, i just don't get it. Bethesda fucks up Animations in every single game they make (Running with a bow in Skyrim is the worst shit i ever saw).
All in all the footage didn't impress me at all, what exactly does ESO do different to other MMO? Why should i buy it? These answers are still not answered for me and after watching live footage i almost don't care.
We will see, if they put up a open beta/weekend i will probably try it out myself, it could change my mind but right now all i can say is "meh".

You are going to be very disappointed if you are pinning your hopes on Wildstar - can't give you more detail than that

ESO > EQN
No argument given can change the reality of that. It's simply mathematics.
