Thanks. I just think people need to take a breather and consider the scope of what SOE is trying to do. For better or worse, they are re-energizing the creative process for the MMO genre.
Yep. TBH as long as they're trying something different then WoW clone # 32 im happy.

Sorry OP, I could only needed to watch the first minute of your video to realize that you're just as keyed up as the negative posters, just polarized in relation to them.
When info about a new game comes out, everyone has a right to express an opinion of what they heard. I'm not sure what your video is designed to do, but have a little respect for those other posters and allow them to be heard.
Hes not talking about the people posting constructive complaints, rather the people going (and I exaggerate) "OMG WTF ITS NOT TRINITY?!?!?!?!?! NOT GONNA WORK GONNA FAIL LIKE GW2? EVERQUEST? MORE LIKE MINECRAFTQUEST LULZ" Which some people have posted along the lines of.

Yes, but they have just as much right to be heard. My point is someone who feels the need to step in and moderate the community is just as keyed up as these guys....especially going so far to make a video.
Why have respect for people who don't respect others? Regurgitating the same shit thats been said a thousand times serves no purpose other than to annoy the people who browse this website for topics for games not named EQN.
Creating topics that have identical topics already being actively discussed in on the front page serves no purpose but don't be surprised when you see the trolls and 'haters' appear in such topics.
Degrading and defaming other games just because what little has been shown they think EQN is the god of all mmos(sounds familiar) serves no purpose but you can gauruntee it'll bring in people who will point out the fact that we haven't seen much in-game footage of EQN yet so its to early to cry out success and will probably bash it just as certain people bash other games.

IMO no they dont. They are not being constructive and most are doing it to troll which IMO throws that whole post out the window. If you cant offer constructive and laid out facts and opinions on the matter then I cant really agree at all with what you say. Honestly who do you think a Dev will look at more? Someone making a detailed posts saying why the Trinity is needed or someone spouting "LOLOLOL GW2 CLONE GONNA FAIL LULZ SOE DID IT AGAIN LULZ" tbh no one in their right mind would listen to that person.

What I am trying to say to those that think the sky is falling is.....please, take a step back and think about what YOU could do in a system like this. I know many of these gamers have gown accustomed to a certain comfort zone and I am just asking them to take a few minutes to really think about what they could be in a game with no set path.
You have to understand the opposite side of the argument to come to a consensus. People are praising this thing as the MMO savior when we have yet to see any actual gameplay footage of merit.
When people act overtly, they will attract others who will either be likeminded or others who are sick of hearing them and wish to put them in their place. If there was actual evidence of this games' claims, you wouldn't see half the trolls and haters that you do. But alas, here we are.

weeks before reveal -here were many speculation threads, and some people made claims like that
but since the reveal, i have seen no "mmo savior" claims

Big thumbs up from me on your Video. Sadly no one on the fence will agree. Let's not worry about those who have become so stagnant in their mentality that change is impossible. Innovation and change has driven the foundation of humanity for 10,000 years, MMO games will be no exception. Lets just leave those behind and ignore their deranged rants.

I liked your video and agree completely with everything you said. In my opinion the design choices they made are all the right ones for a next-gen sandbox MMO and should make for one heck of a fun game. People just need to detach themselves from the past and look into the future.
One thing though: you didn't respond to the most common gripe on forums- the cartoony graphics of course.
I did say in an earlier video on my channel that I prefer a photorealistic type of graphics over a stylized type, however, I will reserve judgement until I can see the graphics in-game for myself.

go and crouwd fund at kickstarter for the old model of mmo gaming and while you are at it
ask to please do not give us idiots a groupfinder for dungens and please ask us a monthly fee
