    I think you missed the fun in it.. first it's a SHE I believe..    second.. the funny was based that people call the game DisneyQuest because of the graphics.. So when this shows up.. It makes you smile..  No need to get defensive to Lilly.. lol

    I agree. Looks more like Bioshock Infinite to me.

    Seriously everything looks great except for the lion. The human looks great, the environments awesome, but the freaking lion....please if their intention was to make him look menacing or ferocious then they need to reconsider going back to the drawing board. Make him look predatory and not completely Mufasa like. Mufasa was drawn to look wise and strong but non threatening like a father in any kids movie would. Make the lion have some semblance of savagery like a real lion would. It just seemed incongruent with the warrior class and more like it should of been chilling and healing like a shaman or priest would.

    I went to a zoo and saw this. Its clearly a Disney clone! I mean wtf even zoo's are using Disney style graphics now.

    Just LOOK AT THE TIGER! That has aladin style ripoff clone all over it.

    Holy Trinity discussions I get. 

    Graphics discussion  - not so much.

     

    Come on people - graphics, especially character graphics are subjective of the beholder.  There are a lot of us that like the characters as they are.

    Don't bash on the lead lady because she like's Disney... and I think she was responsible for the art direction in original EQ?  If I remember right?

    Personally, I could care less about how they look... when I started playing computer games - we did not have graphics.  :p

    Has anybody considered that maybe EQN will have sliders for character models?  Meaning that you wont look like Keeshar if you don't want to?

    What's wrong with quoting Disney? He was a genius of a man with an enormous vision and pupularized and art form  that makes computer games as we know them today possible. He wasn't just an artist himself, he had the rare ability to organize large numbers of artists to create new works, and even a new medium. And he did it all in the midst of the great depression.

    I can't stand the EQN art style, but i don't see any issue with the Disney quote.  Even people that hate iPhones quote Steve Jobs.    

     

    I mean, if i were an artist, i would probably have a Salvador Dali quote somewhere, but i would never design an MMO to look like his work.   (it'd be cool, but inappropriate for virtually any audience)

    So the game might be like Toonstruck and Roger Rabbit? Realistic and cartoon characters all milling about together?

    But could you imagine walking through a fully 3D realized world in the style of his work? A world designed for something like the Rift?
