Shutting Down on September 16th

After editing the game listing for Arcane Saga to show that it's shutting down I figured I'd put a forum post up as well to make sure people are aware. As someone emailed us regarding it shutting down and being disappointed when they realized it wasn't. So to keep everyone in the loop, NetMarble announced their decision in July at this forum post here with the below statement.

"Dear Xenors,

After much consideration we have made the difficult decision to retire Arcane Saga. As of today the cash shop has been permanently closed. On September 16th the game servers will go offline. We want to thank all our fans, old and new, for their support. Without you, we would have never made it this far.

Any NC you currently have will still be available to spend on our other titles. Additionally our GM staff has planned a whole host of events leading up to our final day including XP Boosts, Boss Event and much more. As a final thank you to all our players we are planning to offer special packages to our other PC online titles: District 187, Uncharted Waters Online and Dice Venture. These will be announced in the coming weeks. 

Again, we want to thank you for your support."

Went to check out if someone came to their senses to rework the game somehow because at that point the whole thing was pretty much a joke. Instead they shut it down. oh well, good riddance to bad decision making. Hopefully the rest of the virtual carnies learn a thing or two about integrity, but that may be asking for too much.
