yea, atleast you have the game, i bought mine in february and still waiting to put my hand on it....next week but atleast i made all four of my characters ready for game in early access period
GW Characters: Serena Varden - Monk/Mesmer Faith Varden - Warrior/Elementalist Sama Varden - Elementalist/Necromancer Helena Varden - Ranger/Monk
I can log in, kinda.. and then a few minutes later the first map will come up. After that I'm able to walk for about 5 seconds, then I walk in place and can't move - or do anything else. I can't even open the dropdown distrcts menu.
Location is Connecticut, using Comcast as my ISP.. if any of that helps.
A service provider issue has arisen, and we're working to resolve that right now. Thanks a bunch for your patience on this; we hope to have a steady end solution in place shortly.

hmm.. looks like the GW team is on it... and at least this isn't NEARLY as bad as the WoW launch *bangs head on a piece of wood* I mean, what game doesn't have qwirks at launch?
Also are you running comcast with a router on your end? if so try Going from the modem stright to the computer(bypass the router) see if it works.. worked for me something about disableing port 6112 on the router or something i'll mess with that later

im using a broadband cable 512mb/s xD i hope that is good. it wasn't just me.. the server of gw was bit busy. i guess he couldn't handle it
Sorry Guys! All NCsoft games are having lag and connection issues. I am playing Lineage II and am having lag problems. Since guildwars dosn't require such an extensive connection network (it teleports you and only a few other's to the own part of the game) you may not experience lag, but other problems such as connectivity. If you wanna see what others are saying go to the forums at www.lineage2.comwww.cityofheroes.comwww.lineage.com they have many lag posts up. This may be affecting GW also.
