the bigger question is "Will EQN be group friendly?"
Raids and groups are mentioned often in the Panels, that there will be a need for player interdependence to get through content. I'm looking forward to this, especially to see how the player skills work together. Apparently combining skills will produce alternate effects as well.
Why does everyone always assume that because some of us want frequent grouping in our MMOs that we automatically want FORCED grouping? I'm not arguing in favor of those archaic systems of the past. I'm simply saying this:
Playing an MMO for a modest 2 hours out of your day and never having to say one single word to anyone yet STILL get the same rewards and progression as those that embrace the social aspect of these social games is ludicrous. Hell, even those crappy facebook games understand this basic online gaming concept but we MMOers are still arguing that simply talking to other players to progress is too hard? I just don't get it.
If interacting with other people while gaming is that much of a turnoff for you all, then might I suggest one of the many amazing single player games out there. If it's a challenge you want, then try Dark Souls. You'll wish you had some help for that one.
