Lack of Skill Explanations

Bah having a hard time figuring out if monk heal spells heal necromancer pets...  and also what would be the best combo for a class that wanted to go just necro pets?  I was thinking necro/ranger if the animal companion shouts and such affected undead minions... if the ranger abilities don't, then I'd say necro/monk if heal spells heal undead companions...

 

it's also annoying that undead companions don't show up as allies in the party window
