Fun gameplay

Does anyone know of any really good MMORPGs with amazing gameplay and a good story? Its hard to find the second one lately, most newer games I have played have been grindfests. If anyone knows of any good ones let me know. Also still looking for a good steampunk game

I'd suggest WoW, Wizard101 or Lotro. If you're looking for good story only and can ignore combat system that's not so good, then TSW might be good for you.

EDIT: Wizard 101 is a children's game, so whether the game's story is good or not depends on your tolerance to a bit childish stories /EDIT

Sry I can't suggest any Steampunk MMOs, but I don't think there are any Steampunk MMOs with good gameplay and good story.

I don't think there are any well done steampunk MMO's. But Dishonored is steampunk and it's a great single player game with a pretty decent story.

Ironically I used to play Wizard 101, I sorta miss it, except for the paying for new areas part. I purchased a few since I figured in the long run it was worth more than a membership. I have thought of going back, but I am totally broke right now lol. Thanks everyone for your suggestions though. I meant look into a few of the games you all listed. Main reason I wanted a steampunk is because there were a few good ones a couple years ago, but I missed out because my college internet sucked back then. Figured I'd try now but eh, oh well.

There's the open beta of SolForge, a card game like Magic The Gathering. It's free, but the only real problem right now is lag.
