Has anyone applied an Amazon promo-code yet?

in Final Fantasy XIV

I noticed on the launcher there is a means to get to a pre-order key entry screen. I got excited for a moment but my amazon pre-order code appears to be in the wrong format. Just wondering if this is open to Amazon preorders at this time.

    diregard post. I also noticed. 

     

    For all countries outside of Japan, registration of the pre-order bonus code is scheduled to begin on the 20th of August, 2013.
