    It'll be 2am for me here on the west coast, so yep, staying up. No idea what server - something non-legacy high-pop.

    i'm going to wait a day...  will the characters from this beta carry over or they be wiped when game goes live on 27th?

    Carry over assuming no bugs.

    Carry over unless there's some huge bug/exploit that pops up.

    I have a question, I haven't participated in any previous betas because I didn't receive a code till about a week ago. I registered my code before the cut off date and have installed the launcher and updated today. From what I have read I wont be given access until the 17th, is this true? Don't want to stay up until 5am just to be disappointed.

    I'm passing the time by making repeated 5th, 6th, and 7th trips back to the benchmark character creator to make sure I have everything just right so I'm not second guessing any minor choices.  =P  Keep changing little things haha.

     

    Then I can just port the character appearance into the beta when it finally comes up.

    Yes, 17-19th is open beta, if you were in an earlier beta you get in the 16th, a day early.

     

    All your characters you make during open beta will carry over to launch (unless there's a huge bug/exploit found).

     

    Early access is the 24th, and the full launch (if you don't get early access) is the 27th.

    Starts at 4am here. I'll probably take a quick nap and then start up for a marathon weekend. I just finished my last final exam of the semester today and am starting a 2 week break from school so the timing is perfect!

     

    Tomorrow I'm going to grab a six pack of a certain adult beverage and sit on my butt all day playing this game. A fitting end to a stressful semester!

    It's the official start of open beta for those who have been in previous beta tests. The rest of the open beta opens on Saturday for those who have registered. Characters will only be wiped in the event that there is a game breaking bug or exploit found.

    No.

    Characters will not be wiped from this point on.  This is the soft launch of the game tonight / this morning.

    I have to work until 4:30pm est, so it will be after that when I get on. I'm jealous of all of you who will get to be playing all day. I'll be marathon'ing it though this weekend =)

    2AM PDT is like 5PM here. Am thinking of sleeping in at noon so I can have a go at it all night till the early morning image

     

    Currently passing the time downloading the client and reading up on the beta tester forums. I like the stuff they've posted up on the beta 4 patch notes.
