Restricted Servers, Temporary or Permanent?

Sorry if this has already been asked, but does anyone know if Square Enix is going to remove the current character creation restrictions they have on some of the servers? I was able to get on this morning and make my character on Hyperion before going to work, but now none of my friends can make characters on that server... I'm wondering if the restrictions will stay that way because the servers are considered "full" or if it is just temporary until they allow more players into the game.

I'm fairly certain it is temporary, they are stress testing the servers at different population levels, also I'm sure they want to keep an even balanced of players across all the servers before they open the flood gates in a couple hours for open beta players.

The servers open up randomly throughout the day.

 

Just have to keep checking.

they are all temporary by the minute , it will continue this way following the release and some more, unless 8000mil players wants to join then it is a different story
