I dunno..I'm kind of warming up to it now. Once you make yourself get past the fact that the game is basically NOTHING like it was before, it actually does have some cool sounding gameplay elements. Fast paced for an MMO is good in my book

Its ONE gameplay movie that is edited into 5 movies, just download TR_Sizzle_Gameplay.wmv because that one has sound effects, rest of the movies only have music instead. The whole standing still while shooting at each other with rock music does not impress me. Only reason Tabula Rasa name is used is to save on marketing because NOTHING seems to be left from "old" TR (not even concept is the same).
Right now its competing directly against Imperator Online (sci-fi & guns) & Imperator interests me more now because they have released more info than TR.

There is a lot left from the old game, the main two things that where changed with the new version where the gfx and the combat system. The rest is still more or less the same.
Well good, now that all the mmorpgers are complaining and saying they aren't gonna bother with this game, us FPS people have less whining and "omg how do i get that 1337 weapon?!?!?!" to deal with.
Graphics look way better now, I hate that japenese anime looking junk, if you want that, go to guild wars. That stuff is for kids, grow up.
Now the combat isn't the typical EQ2 crap either, point, click, repeat, point, click *yawn* The faster the gameplay the better.
So, better graphics, less RPG whiners... both wins in my book.
I suppose the MMO pool can use another SciFi selection.. there's so few of those out there. AO is outdated now and Eve online is too much of a niche game.
I'll be keeping an eye out for this game, although like most of us I was looking forward to the older version.

I was completly uninterested of this game in its earlier incarnation, just another generic MMO. Now, though... The new shots just smacked over the head. It is turning into a superior version of Anarchy Online, it is turing into a comeplty new thing, with completly new sollutions and a world I have never before seen.. and it looks GOOD doing it. Maybe.. just maybe.. I will start up a game and feel I have to learn something new for a change, not just repeat the same old I have done the last four-five years.
I have turned from ignoring this game... to actually put it up on my "Future" list. So yep, its a turn for the better, in my case. New is always exiting. Old and tried may be safe... but I am not an old scared crone yet, I like it unfamiliar and exiting. I let the leet-kids be old and scared women.

Looks f'ing gorgous! Really lookin forward to this... Theres nothing else on the horizons except maybe dnd but this is really looking great. It'll be a great pleasure to get back into a decent spacey killy aliens mmo... abit like planetside with a decent enemy to fight... no gutless terrans and vs...
Hope theres more of this to come. Looks really really nice tho. Guess i'll be buying that Gt6800 afterall...
