Does anyone feel this game would benefit from chat bubbles? I like them so I can see if someone is talking to me without having to look at my chat. It also adds to the RPG feel IMHO. The npc have chat bubbles we should too.

Somebody, somewhere has better skills as you have, more experience as you have, is smarter than you, has more friends as you do and can stay online longer. Just pray he's not out to get you.
elitest will complain, claiming cluster and all that jazz.. this isn't ragnarok, and even then it was cool
i had to whisper to someone just so someone right next to me know im talking to them.. really dumb in this day an age
chat bubbles are easy and convienient when you wanna talk to someone right next to you! its so stupid to hope they are reading the spam filled chat log
Honestly, add this into EVERY MMo. Just have an option to turn it off. I don't mind them, though I'd turn them off in things like raids or other details since I do like more screen space to see stuff to react.
It might add some flair to the game for conversations that are held next to each other but for shouts party chats guild chats or just tells with someone in another zone you would use the chatbox anyways.
In crowded areas it would be a nuisance and using the chatbox would be easier.
I’m half and half on the subject. I realize you can turn them off, I might have to keybind that toggle. But I have been in games where you have 60 - 80 people in a cantina and the screen is so full of chat bubbles that you can’t see the characters running around the room. Or you lose your conversation behind someone elses bubbles.
But I agree that in an intimate setting, the chat bubble is just an elegant tool for a more civilized age.
The first improvement I will try is organizable chat bubbles. Bubbles that you can move around the screen, away from their originator. The top of screen would be the first tier, or fiends / primary conversation. This tier remains the longest time visible on the screen. The middle of the screen, second tier, is the general chat. This is where newcomers emerge. It last less that the top of the screen but longer than the bottom of the screen. The bottom or third tier, is a step above the ignore list. The third tier generates a notification of chat, and then quickly fades away.
Pardon any spelling errors
Konfess your cyns and some maybe forgiven Boy: Why can't I talk to Him? Mom: We don't talk to Priests. As if it could exist, without being payed for. F2P means you get what you paid for. Pay nothing, get nothing. Even telemarketers wouldn't think that. It costs money to play. Therefore P2W.

i missed it too.
I don't understand why people still make mmos without chat bubbles. Makes me feel like a mute.
