Server Transfers??

in Final Fantasy XIV

Is there going to be a free server transfer when the game launches? I ended up picking the wrong server because the rest were all locked.....

 

Another question is that I picked molboro server which is about 110ms, while theres others that are 70-80....will that make a huge difference lag wise if I decided to stay on molboro?  or is the difference so miniscule it wouldn't matter....THANKS

    It is my understanding that server transfers will not occur for a couple months.

    ...not even for the legacy servers..?

    Legacy character had the chance to change their server awhile ago when Phase 3 occured. They will be able to purchase the server transfer option when it comes available a couple months after release.

    Under 150ms you won't notice anything in a game like this..
