in Final Fantasy XIV

Every time I would try to redeem my code, I'd get the same error, Error 3, There was a problem. please try again later. Well, ok, but I'd get it over and over and Still can't get the site to confirm my code. This sounds pretty much like what every one else has going on.

However, When I check my profile under registered games, it's shows FF14 listed as one of my games. Just saying, check your own profiles out. Not sure if this means anything , but it might.

    Doesn't mean anything, you need to recieve an email with a 20 digit code once you've redeemed your 18 digit one, its a weird system, but thats what it is.

    That much, I have not gotten, I bought direct from SE. So I guess it's just a waiting game now.

    they said they are sending redeem codes in patches to lower the load on the website. they said if you do not receive it by end of 22 , contact them.

    Where did you see this? Can you link to it? I pre ordered a while back and still have yet to get an email.

    I think if you pre ordered through SE you already have early access and won't receive a code, don't quote me on it but I read it earlier somewhere

    last night I tried a few times to register, got that error 3 every time and checked my profile

    0 games registered

    tried just a few minutes ago, kept getting the error 3 and not registering. Came here, saw this thread, checked my profile

    1 game registered - FFXIV a realm reborn registered today

    I waited a while to preorder, and did so just last night. I have received my game registration code. However when I go to the Square Enix Account page, and click the select service link, then FFXIV, it says code registration is currently unavailable. Hopefully that get fixed soon? I am assuming I have to have my game registered to get the early access code right?

    Yeah, the game is registered to my profile as well but I get the Error 3 code.  Guess just wait and see.

    Login and click My Profile.  If it went through it should show FF14 with a current registration date.

    CONFIRMED:

     

    Tried to register last night and earlier today, getting the same error 3 everyone else has gotten.

    Checked my profile a few minutes ago, and there it was.  One newly registered copy of FFXIV: ARR.

    FWIW, I preordered through Amazon and used the code provided.

    Keep trying. I had FFXIV: ARR in my SE account too but tried again anyway and it worked.

     

    You will get error 3 but eventually you will get through to the pre order redemption page with the preorder code page following that. Once you input your 20 digit code you will enter the services page that shows the beta's you participated in and below that will be the in game items from the preorder bonus. Finally it will give you the option to download client (no need if you still have OB installed).

     

    Still waiting for it to show the CE edition in my account page I tried the process over again and got error 3 a couple times but got through and saw the same 20 digit code and tried to enter again and it said code has been used, so I think I'm done.

    I was already showing the game like you.  I just tried again, after 3 error 3's I got through and got my 20 digit code!
