The code's region is inapplicable.
You can only enter codes from the same region as your Square Enix account.

Same thing here, but I'm not worried about it. If it doesn't work when "logging into the game the first time" then I'll worry about it.

Okay ... I went back and used 18 digit code ... then it gave me a NEW (2nd different 20 digit code) from original email, and that one worked. Although now it shows me registered for beta test .... lmao. Unbelievable!

I was ALMOST tempted to preorder, but then decided against it. I have a non-legacy 1.0 account and ill just suck it up for the 3 days I wont get in. I am not as hardcore as I once was anyways so im sure to lose the race to 50 on all classes.

The first thing it says after the code

"Input this code, when prompted, after logging in to the game for the first time."

OK! So I tried again and it worked the first time!

Not error3 or such, it loaded the next page giving me the 20 digits code and the link to register right there, typed in the code and done! A confirm page were I can read pre order windows and items Mog cap and Cait Sith doll.

So I'm guessing they are fixing the issues, since other friends are also getting the register.

Keep trying guys.

I still haven't got an email for my preorder from SQEN.  Not surprising.

 

I can do a backflip with a twist and get my serial code thru their hokey 3rd party processing company and get an error 3 with that though.

 

Fortunately the quality of the game itself is leaps and bounds beyond the quality of their website, preorder mechanism, and ability to get players their copies of games hooked up.

 

They still have a couple of days to get things rolling.
