Clarifying WHM and BLM Jobs

in Final Fantasy XIV

On lodestone and earlier guides which some originated from ffxiv 1.0, it is stated that WHM requires conj 30/gla 15 and BLM thau 30/pug 15

 

Now since release of arcanist i've seen some sites state either the previous or now  WHM= conj 30/arc 15 and BLM thau 30/arc 15.

 

Since its still the previous listed on lodestone can anyone confirm which is the way now?

    They changed it so the casters use other caster classes as their level 15s.

    I've seen it stated multiple places by players that it was changed but I have yet to find any official statement by the developers as a definitive answer. It would be nice to know where people are getting this information instead of just more people saying, "yeah, it was changed'.

    The changes are being reported by people who were part of Beta 4 and had access to their Legacy characters. The Lodestone for V1.0 hasn't been updated since last November. There was supposed to a new Lodestone implemented for ARR, but it obviously hasn't happened yet.

    I'm sure it is in a producer's letter somewhere, but probably most of those players got it word-of-mouth from legacy beta testers. It's a lot more intuitive for casters to rely on other caster jobs anyway, so I don't see much reason to doubt it.

    It was only gla and pug during beta because Arcanist wasn't released at that point, now that arcanist is out the jobs have been changed to what they were supposed to be from the start.
