what level do jobs start at ?

Bit confuse when i unlock a job does it start at level 1?

It starts at 30 and shares progress with it's main class.

Level Summoner to 35, Arcanist becomes 35. Level Arcanist to 37, Summoner becomes 37.

Sephastus

Classes and jobs share the same level.

 

If you are a level 37 gladiator when you opened up the Paladin job, your Job is level 37. If you play exclusively as a paladin till level 45, and then switch to Gladiator, you are a 45 gladiator.

 

As a gladiator, you can equip any shareable skill from any of the other classes, but if you are a job, you can only share skills with certain classes... namely the ones you needed to level up to become that job.

 

For Paladin, that would be, Gladiator, Conjurer and you are able to get Marauder as bonus.

 

To unlock any of the jobs, you have to be level 30 of the primary class (for Paladin, it is Gladiator), and level 15 of the secondary class (for Paladin it is conjurer).

Will be interesting to see if Summoner, Arcanist and Scholar share levels... or if you can even have both Summoner and Scholar...

Yes and yes, but the Arcanist shares bonus attribute points between the two. So bonus points for a Summoner won't be ideal for a Scholar. And we don't quite now how easy/expensive refunding points will be.
