I'll be there to continue to play my open beta character with my guildies, and my brother as he liked the game in open beta. Should be a fun weekend as long as there are no crazy errors that don't let you login at all, instead letting the login queue actually work
Back when I was younger, in my EQ1 days, I could camp for 12 straight, go AFK, turn my chair around to face my bed and prop my legs up, pass out for a couple of hours, then turn around still logged in and run 12 more.
Obviously, those days waved bye bye long ago, but slipping away from the wife at 5AM (EST) seems do-able to me lol.

I'm waiting for 2-3 weeks after launch. I've been playing these games for well over a decade, so I know very well how launches go. The downtimes, the emergency patches, crashes.. Every game, every time. I'll wait a bit then join.
Probably, but if I'm too unwilling to drag myself out of bed I won't curse the darkness. Now that's it's finally going live I'm not really missing out on anything but server firsts that I have no chance at anyway.
4am is a little too early for me but hope to be there a couple hours later (although if I wake up in the night, I'm sure I won't be able to help but check the time and log in if it's after 4 :P )
Edit: now if it were a midnight launch, I'm sure I'd have to stay up until 2am
gonna try n get a little 2-3 hour nap in, stay up til (its 3:00 am launch for me) 3, play for a few hours til sunup, then hit the sack and play upon waking again lol. and on the topic of age, I'm 22. I'm perfectly capable of staying the fuck awake
I'll be on at 7am CST, head to the gym at 9am, come back to play a little more before heading off to work at 2pm. All I'm really hoping to do is connect with a few guildmates and make sure everything is ready for AFTER I get off work! Then I'll be in the man cave until at least 3am tomorrow night.

Avatars are people too
Not sure if your older then myself but this old man is going to bed early and waking up at 2:00am.
Don't see the point... launch will most probably error out and people are gonna be stuck with issues as usual.
I have stuff to do over the weekend and beyond, I'll come around sometime later.

The Deep Web is sca-ry.
Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.
