Quick Question.

  Sorry if its been asked.  I looked a little bit, but found nothing specific.  If I were to purchase FF14 right now.  Would I get in on the early access?  Or would I still have to wait till the 27th?  I've been on the fence about buying it.  But, $30 isn't that much and imo worth it to give the game a shot.  Thanks in Advance.

I'm almost positive you will get in early access if you buy before the launch.

It might depend a lot where you get it from. If its retail, you might NOT get it. Your best bet probably would be directly through square. If you aren't sure, just ask the place directly you are buying from and check and see if its possible. Can't hurt to try.

it depends on who you go through man! be careful, I pre ordered for early access and GOT it, but I also got lucky. I went in to a gamestop down the road and asked to pre-order, AND asked the guy if the codes had run out yet. Now, he was like, "MMmmmmmm.... I'm not 100% sure man! But I THINK our supply was limited and once we're out we're out type deal, and unfortunately the only way it lets me check is if you purchase the pre order (which is legitimately true)." So he made a phone call and asked a couple people, and we came to the conclusion that the codes were most likely gone but I was like well I need to buy it anyways, so whatever lets try!

LONG STORY SHORT: went ahead and preordered, the receipt came out saying codes were all gone, BUT, I lucked out, cause he then went in and essentially sold me a $0.00 "Backup FFXIV EA CODE" that they should have an SKU # for at the store. He printed that receipt and BAM there was my 18-digit code.
