I just picked up Final Fantasy XIII-2 so I'm getting my FF time in that way instead. Perfect alternative during maintenance.

Wow, you either horribly misread that or you just exaggerated what you read tenfold. Keywords: few days, to my early access, meantime. He only makes very short term, temporary references to waiting, just like me how I am just being patient until it works. I guess it's worth misreading though if you can laugh about what people didn't really say.

Wait no...is THIS post for real?! That a guy has to explain to the other guy about the other guy's post that its not in fact what the 1st other guy was thinking and if only he read the 2nd other guy's post more thoroughly that we can actually determine that perhaps the 1st guy is mistaken but then maybe the overall responder could be mistaken as well to the other guy's intent despite it looking like he misunderstood?! I just wanted to add to the shocked replies inception.... ;x
And to keep things in line with the thread, I somewhat agree on having to be patient but at the same time, many people paid into something with a promise and expectation. Professionally they should be held up to these promises/expectations and have planned better ahead of time. This are the types of things that separate good companies from great ones (not implying SE isn't great), but we should be holding them to higher standards if we expect great quality to come (and continue).

NO, I just given up for today, I probably won't bother tomorrow either and I'm too busy during the week. May not get to play the game till next weekend and therefore my EA is pretty much gone down the pan.

great launch so far for me . Zero lag and only the 3 hour maintenance that they announced in plenty of time. Only bug i found is the instance servers getting locked up because of too much traffic. So far best game i played since EQ and i must of played every AAA mmo that has been out since EQ.
