Grand Companies - reward differences

Hi guys,

 

Does anyone know the tangible differences between the grand companies and their rewards?  I know you can change if you like etc, but for example:

 

Does one grand company, say for example, the Order of the Twin Adder give out more of caster items and the Maelstrom give out tank items?  I've just remembered from previous games, how different factions gave superior items to certain classes as opposed to the other choices. 

 

Or for example, you get a + to mercantile as opposed to a + to str if you are higher rank in A vs. B grand company.

 

Oh well, let me know if anyone here knows those tangible differences?  Could be know one knows as of yet.

No real reward difference other than color and emblem to my understanding.

If you look through the achievements though the pet rewards are color based too if that matters to you .

There are some minor stat differences, but the gear is just entry gear anyway, so it doesn't matter all that much.  My understanding is if you absolutely have to have the best, the best stat gear will be from the GC from the same starting town as your main class.   But it doesn't matter enough to not just pick whichever one you like better.  Also keep in mind, you can change your mind.
