NOT EVERYONE HAS PLAYED EVERY GAME YOU HAVE

I know, I know. It feels like the beginning of Resident Evil 1. Like the end of Jade Cocoon where everybody has turned to stone. It's like this game, it's like that game. Use words for christ's sake! How am I supposed to know that you even know what you're talking about if you don't describe it? You could have this crazy WoW friend who came up to you and told you it's like the raiding system of WoW and then bam you post whatever it is you post. I don't even know what the raiding system of WoW is like in the slightest. But I can say it just as easy. 

 

There are immensely famous games out there and it seems like everyone is or has played them, I know. But that's not true at all. Not even close. Not even almost close to being maybe close to close. I have never played EVE, Ultima Online, Everquest (although I did buy it just never hooked my PS2 into the internet), WoW, LoL, Dota, ETC. Yes these are well known games, But you cant just blanket any random person whom is to read your thoughts with a comment that says an element in a game is like an element from another game.. Terrarium is LIKE Minecraft. yeahh.. but NO! There are probably huge game mechanics and aspects of each game that couldn't and should not be compared to the other in anyway. But that's exactly what happens

If you can't or don't or won't describe the gameplay as it is then you have no business doing so and shouldn't, in a professional/public setting. If you're talking to someone that you know plays (whatever) then it is appropriate to reference (whatever)'s crafting system flaws.
