Resetting attributes??

in Final Fantasy XIV

I hit level 10 and listened to a buddy that gave bad info.

 

well I put points in all the wrong things.. Is there a way to fix?

    Your gc should sell an item to allow resets, costs something like 10k seals from what I've gathered.

    Costs 10k seals per item (stacks up to 99 times). The item is called like 'Slab of Memories' or something like that in the Materials tab of your Grand Company's quartermaster. I'd have to double check, but I believe you have to rank up 2-3 times first (meaning the total seals to purchase the item would actualy be closer to 17k, not 10k. First rank = 2k seals, 2nd = 2.4k, 3rd = ~3k, etc.

    Free company sell it with seals.

    its just lvl10 - now you know all the quests. create a new char and run through them fast. shouldn't take too long :-)

    Well it's only 3 points, not wanting to level over that  but I don't have 10k either.

     

    is there no complete respect at level 30 or when choosing my main class monk

    You will be able to compensate any stat allocations with materia in gear at max level until a specific stat reaches it's cap.

     

    3 stat points won't even be noticeable to be honest.  I just invested 8 int on Arcanist a little while ago and only got 1-2 damage increase on direct damage spells at level 21 on the character.

    Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.

    Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.
