No. Clearly the solution is to just not let people login or to put them into queues.  Not letting people login at all does wonders for congestion.

Premium MMORPGs do not feature built-in cheating via cash for gold pay 2 win. PLAY to win or don't play.

Maybe it's not as easy as just adding another server. The only people who really know what is going on is Square Enix, and it's not like they're sitting on their hands and slamming their heads into the servers hoping it fixes.

I am just speculating here but it looks like they have a bottle neck (aka duty finder) in their architecture. More servers would only increase the problem. I hope they fiund a solution. But that might be not easy. Anyway, I have to quit for today. Tomorrow is a working day.

No, more servers would solve nothing - possibly they would make it worse.

There's an issue with their server architecture and the processing of instances through the duty finder.  It has a MASSIVE bottleneck.  Right now, they need to work their data centers and apply more bandwidth to that process.

You can't login easily right now because they are throttling that process so they can build up stress on their architecture slowly so they can find the issue.  If they keep opening the flood gates they will just overwhelm the process instantly and get no usable data.
