Orignial 1.0 players get EA?

So I was an original 1.0 collectors edition purchaser/player.  I only subbed for 1 month i believe so I'm not a legacy player and I was wondering if we get EA?  I never got a code but i've noticed a great deal of people who haven't either.  I have been to my SE account and it shows my FF XIV account and all it has is a cancel button.  It also said something about no code or something in red.  My other question is, if we don't get EA then how do we go about getting the game up on launch?  Do i just subscribe for the monthly sub and they activate it or send a code?  I have been looking for some info but their forums are so congested and running slowly that i just get fed up.  So if someone could enlighten me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Early access only went to those with legacy status (i.e. 3 months paid sub).

 

Other 1.0 players merely get access to the game on Tue when the game officially opens.

Do we get a free month like those who purchase or do we have to sub right out of the gate?

It also goes to those the preordered 1.0.  Though I don't know if he preordered 1.0 or not, so I guess the point would be moot if he didn't.

I did not pre-order, I bought a collectors edition from best buy for really cheap since they were massively over stocked and the state of 1.0 lol.

Ahh, in that case you would not get early access.

 

In regards to game time, you get 2 weeks of free gametime, which after you have to pay the sub.  But you receive Final Fantasy 14: ARR for free (in your case, the digital collector's edition), so it's only the sub, and not the box as well.

 

Oh, but if you want the early access/preorder stuff, then you can just go buy a code on ebay.  People are selling their codes for $10-.

Awesome!  I'm fine with 2 weeks for free but do i get all the goodies that come with the ARR collectors edition as well?  And thanks for the quick and precise answers.

Just the digital stuff. To get the physical goodies, you'd still have to buy the physical CE box.  But since digital goodies can be simply tied to a code, then it's an easier way for them to reward their 1.0 CE people without having to take away a 2.0 CE box from somebody else.
