If I buy it on PSN now, can I play it instantly?

in Final Fantasy XIV
I was in beta phase 4 and loved the game. I've been following it on forums and I'm seeing that a lot of people are pissed about all the problems with SE servers. So, I was looking into playing it now. If buy it on PSN now I'll be able to play it right away?

    I second this question. I bought 1.0 for the PC so I can play on the 27th but I was wondering if I buy it on PS3 tonight if I can play it tonight/tmrw with the account I already have.

    If you are willing to risk the high probability of you not receiving the activation code.  If you do there is even a higher chance that all the servers are full and the queue kicks you out once its your turn to enter.

    I would strongly recommend waiting it out at least a day, and keep tabs on the forums to see just how many people are still looking for their activation codes.

    I don't mind playing on a JP server. I just want to know if the game will be delivered to me right away. 

    Edit: Yeah, I guess I'll wait till release date.
