GreteldaGretelda Member UncommonPosts: 359

Hi i got a question to those that bought the digital standard version indirectly.i got the digital version indirectly and now i recieved a 18 digit code for 30 days free service.did you guys received a 18digit code after open beta or a 20digit one?should i received a 20digit code so i could add free 30 days or is there a way i could turn this 18digit code into a 20 digit one just like EA codes since i bought it indirectly?

would appreciate if anyone help

here is process i had so far by the way:

18digit EA code -> 20digit pre-order code -> now i was suppose to get a code for 30days free and i got a 18digit code which was suppose to be 20digit one unless there is a way to convert it to 20digit like EA code.would appriciate if anyone tell me how

my actual game code was in the 4-4-4-4-4 format.

Entered it right in, shouldnt need to enter a code to get another code like you did with EA.

did you get it directly from SE or was it digital collector?since if it is these 2 cases it seems that you get 20digit directly.since mine is standard digital was wondering maybe i am suppose to convert it into 20digit like EA not sure though.would appriecate if anyone can explain

Where did you buy your digital copy? Since you said indirectly, I assume it wasn't from the square enix store. All 3 Amazon, Greenmangaming, and Square-Enix (Digital River) sends you a 20 digit code directly through your email. That early access thing was only there for early access, for retail version your supplier should have given you a 20 digit code.

one of my friends got it for me since i had no means to pay for it online where i am right now.he usually get things from amazon or weeklygamesdeal not sure where he bought it this time.

i know i can use the new 18 digit code in redeem page and probably turn it into a 20 digit code but i already did that once in Early Access days...the first code i got was 18digit too and i redeemed it and got a 20digit one,now i was waiting for another code for 30days free which is suppose to be 20digits,but the new code i have is 18digit right now and i am afraid if i try to redeem again with the new code it makes another account for me instead of giving me 30days free.hope anyone can help

I ordered the digital collectors edition from amazon. There are 3 codes but you only get 2 by email.amazon emailed an 18 digit pre-order code. Then Square-Enix emailed me a 20 digit early access code. The 3rd code that gets you 30 days game time is the 20 digit activation key which is found in the games library on the amazon website.
