Difficulty with FF14 Forum login

in Final Fantasy XIV

Is anyone else having difficulty selecting and saving their toon at SE's forums so they can participate there? I've clicked on my toon's info under "Selecting Character" (so it is highlighted) and then clicking Save Changes in 2 different browsers (Firefox and IE) but still get the following message:

 

Main character has not been selected yet.
Please select the main character from the menu shown below.
* You cannot use the forum service until the main character is selected.

 

 

I do this select then save over and over in both browsers but still get the above message.

    Click the little star in the top left corner.  Doing otherwise highlights it, but doesn't actually -mark- it.

     

    Took me forever to figure out too. :)
