EQ II Information Resources.

    Greetings,

    I am in desperate need of EQ II on-line/web informational resources.  Call them 'cheats' or 'spoilers,' or what-have-you, most players of MMOs end up using one of these at least once in their gaming career.  I'm talking about sources like Allakhazam's Magical Realm, and CastersRealm; web sites that give detailed information about a particular (or many) online role playing games.  I've been somewhat spoiled since my glory days of playing EQ, when so many good web sites were available and were well known by the players, but lately it seems that I've not been able to find any -good- resources for EQ II.

    I have looked at many web sites, such as Allakhazam's EQ II page, EQ II Vault, and so on, and none of them have much detailed information.  I even have this EQ II spoiler book (which only gives info up to level 30, and is BADLY organized), armed with that and a plethora of web resources out there, it took me a good deal of time finding what I needed about a level 10 quest (Becoming a Predator).

    I need everything from a good spell/ability compendium, alternative UI choices, quest lists and info, and detailed maps of the game.  I have looked around, and most of the EQ II pages that jump out first in a google.com search aren't that great (IMHO).  I don't know if the problem is the fact that EQ II has only been out a few months, if the player base isn't large enough to gather and compile the data needed for independent info sites, or what!

    If anyone out there who plays EQ II can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it!

And give Allah's time. Eventually they'll be a good resource too. The first link is probably one of the best though. They have done a great job. I found a lot of stuff using the search function on the EQ2 forums too. Just have to get the right search term hehe.

You post criticisms of the game on every thread on this site. You obviously don't like it. Why should we listen to you about what is fun?

Not everyone has 40hrs a week to figure stuff out in game. Some of us have jobs and need some assistance when it comes time to pick a new special ability, or when we need to decide between better gear or saving up for a spell upgrade next level.

It's fine if you don't like some aspects of the game, but don't come to every EQ2 post on this site and post something negative. That's trolling, and it's unproductive.
