Hallo all.

I was thinking, have is the game today and would it be worth it ?

same as its been for a while.  There is pretty good PVP through the tiers.   A lot of it is just keep swapping but every now and hten you get some good batltes.

 

Sadly it doesn't look like they are investing much into the game anymore but  you can get 60 day sub cards for like $20 on amazon so if you are bored and want some PVP action then go for it.

Whatever peeps think or say the game is still fun if you like player driven Fantasy based PvP/RvR. As in all games there are boring moments when everything seems to slow down. But when it becomes "epic" ,fight wise, there's nothing else out there that comes even close to the Warhammer Online RvR experience. There's a good reason why we still have 2 servers up and running decently populated and 1 Russian server that still doesn't want to die it seems (Russian warhammer fanboys are the most hardcore ones it seems).

 

Up to you op. Download and upgrade the game, buy a 60days card somewhere at a cheap price and check it out for yourself. Worst case you lost 20$ and know this kind of game isn't your stuff.

I returned to WAR for my free 14 day Return to WAR promotion and have to say that I'm going to stay. Way better PvP than some of the more recent mmo's: GW2, Neverwinter, Rift (Rift has the edge in Scenarios/WF but open pool Faction vs Faction belongs to WAR). And the dwarves are far more dwarvish than any other mmo!

Plainly amazing our situation now.

They ran out of computer generated game codes and this for nearly everything for Warhammer, inculding pet, mount and RvR pack. Origin store responses tell peeps to wait and see.
