I don't know if it's any different at PAX East, but this PAX Prime, not E3. If you've never been it's a tried and true enthusiast event, always has been. You don't typically see a lot of major announcements or significant reveals at PAX, instead it's almost entirely dedicated to hands on/free form presentations. The presentation halls themselves are filled with people talking about being in or related to gaming, and rarely about the actual games themselves. People talk about PAX largely after the fact rather than while it's going on.
