I wish I could see... the inability to actually log in the game is one thing, but to prevent people from even posting their displeasure is quite another... and here I thought Square-Enix was a Japanese company, not Chinese. GG Censorship.
There are only a couple heavily moderated subforums that let you post as often as you want. Most people probably don't know about them anyway. The general forum only lets you post a handful of replies each day, and create even fewer new threads.
What this means is that it's impossible to know how many people are really having issues because if they reply to a non-related thread, or aren't high enough level, they can't speak up.
I cant even post at all. I got a ban because I posted in a na/eu key trade thread. How was I to know they didnt allow that? The thread was 5 pages long and had been going for at least a day and a half. Did they ban all those people too?
To even make an allusion to Chinese censorship is fairly ignorant on your part and comes nothing close to what the actual "function" of limiting forum posts. I highly doubt its to suppress voices or prevent people from being heard. It's called managing congestion and SE is having a hard enough time dealing with it currently and it definitely spills over. I can't even choose my "main character" to even make a post on forums. Are they specifically trying to censor me because they knew my agenda is to bash them or something? No, not at all because that wasn't even my intention. Its juvenile and more troll fodder for people to feed off of.
Please keep political analogies out of the virtual video game realm please especially when you have zero idea of what you are even talking about.
Even with the post limits we still see the same threads over and over.
I guess some people feel their problem is so much more important that they need a new thread all of their own to talk about something that someone else is already discussing.
Think about it, nobody wants to die, there's rules to this game son, I'm justified.
