It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
So while I'm playing whack-a-mole trying to login, I thought I'd mention some things that annoy me and don't seem to have been mentioned before. None of these is really 'game breaking' and hopefully they can be improved in a patch later.
1.) The game is REALLY click happy
this is my biggest annoyance - all the clicking!
Harvesting - be nice to have a setting so we could pick mat once per node, if we wanted to.
Crafting - A 'rerun current recipe' button would be nice.
2.) Map button when running/riding
when moving, if you open the map, sometimes another push of the map key will close it,
other times it just makes the map non-transparent. Be nice if this was a bit more consistent
with behavior while standing still.
3.) No cosmetic slots
Dye's just aren't the same. It's not really practical to keep the killer outfit you found at lvl 15 when your lvl 40.
4.) Inability to repair everything at once.
It would be nice to have a 'repair all' button at menders, instead of having to cycle thru the drop down for every
slot.
5.) Inability to group many of the 'story' instances.
Not being able to do the 'epic story' stuff with your friends is sorta a bummer. The 'heroic journey' in RPG's is always
more fun with friends...
6.) Reliance on FATES/Dungeons for advancement
Are you going to be able to get a group for Satasha in 6 months? Will you be able to find anyone to do low level
FATES with ? I really don't know...
Anyway, nothing earth shattering here, but I hope some of these 'quality of life' things can get patched...
Time to get back to whack-a-mole!

Yeah - macro's help too - especially for crafting. The in-game macro editor could use a list of commands, but you can find them via google. But I'd really love some configuration settings or counters (like 'make this recipe 10 times' where it would keep doing the recipe without having to go back and re-select the current recipe each time)
Add travel to the list. Lots of quests send you back and forth, here and there. Gets pretty tedious after a while. Teleport , Zone, chocobo, Zone, Zone, talk to some guy, recall, chocobo, zone, zone, kill 5 rats then reverse the process.
The one annoyance I really don't understand being unmentioned is the 'mushy' combat. Hopefully new back end infrastructure will aleviate this but I don't think it will ever be 'crisp' combat. Its worse than games that have really be panned for this. Start a cast take a step forward what happens? Answer, nothing.... for a quarter off a second or more. The thing is the client should cancel the cast and inform the server, that should give instant visual feedback. I can't see back end infrastructure improving that. Oh and good luck getting out of the dragon breath in Brayflox.
4.) Inability to repair everything at once.
you have this option. Just click repair all on the mender screen. Dont know why you can't
I seem to have missed this? The 'default' option on the drop down only repairs _equipped_ gear...and the last option only repairs gear in inventory, not armoury. Is there another option I missed somewhere ?
If you crafted a recipe successful you can use Quick synthesis button (right next to the Synthesize button) to make X amount of the item. This works for ALL recipes. Beware, there is of cause a chance of failure.
Oh god I hate this ancient system these days where you constantly have to swap better looking gear into crap looking gear with higher stats. The insane and strict gear+level dependancy to do anything is infuriating, when there's dozens of proven-to-be-good progression system that does not rely heavily on gear+level.
Yeah - problem with this is you get pitiful exp for it. I get 500 exp for crafting say cotton yarn - but 100 exp if I use quick synth.
I don't mind crafting the stuff individually, but it would be nice to 're-run' the current recipe without having other windows (recipe selection) pop up and require extra clicks.
Quick synth spends about 6 seconds or so per craft; that's really quick. I mainly use it to be able to create large supplies quickly to put in the market .
