Source please..? AFAIK NCSoft (Korea) only announced that they did license UE4 and would modify it for a "massively online gaming experience".
I still think that NCSoft will use UE4 for L3. So far they haven't denied nor confirmed L3 development and haven't announced anything really new, like they did with pre-alpha Aion & B&S footage & shots 3 years before release...
[EDIT]
Also worth to note that L2 uses a heavily modded UE as well. That's why I figured they'd use UE4 for L3 ;-)
The only game NCSoft confirmed to use UE4 so far is a FPS. NCSoft won't release a new Lineage game so soon. With Lineage Eternal being released in 2014-2015, don't expect a new Lineage until 2020+.
Good deal then, I was freakin' out over the Wiki site for L3. They were running on about how there was a scandal or what not about some NC dudes that had sold the codes (or tried to) for L3 and its UE4, so NCsoft said they would just make their own "entirely new proprietary engine" for L3.
That was supposedly back in 2007 anyhow.
The garbage one finds on Wikipedia....thanks for clearing that up.
Are there any mmorpg's currently running UE4, or has it even been released yet?

In 2006-2007 the old Lineage 3 project codes were stolen by some employes of the team, resulting in TERA. L3 was initially meant to be similar to Tera when it comes to engine(Unreal 3)-mechanics.
After the theft, the team decided to start a new project and develop a propriety engine for it instead of using a licensed engine(like UE3-Cry engine).
So the new project and in-house engine development started in 2007, in 2011 they revealed it: Lineage Eternal.
