Start Button Faded

Hi I purchased game at launch and have never been able to get passed the start screen due to the start button being disabled (faded/greyed out).   I have been unable to attain this information from the official website.

 

1.  Do others have the same issue?

2.  Is the fix to get new servers online?

3.  What is the current eta if 2 is true?

    1. Yes. It means hundreds of thousands of people (or bots) are spamming 0 trying to get in and the launcher is having a nervous breakdown.
    2. Not yet.

    That greyed out button is only the beginning, my friend.

    You have to restart over and over till you get start working its sad spam game just to get in. And that will prolly take 1-4 hours less if lucky.

    Close your client.

    ipconfig /flushdns

    Restart client.

    Should work enough to get you to the 1017 error.

    Only thing works is restart client till it pops

    Then there is pretty much nothing more on your side that you can do.  I'm not aware of any client side issues that cause that specific issue (perhaps firewall?).  You can keep re-opening the client as others noted, should work eventually.

    Check out http://arrstatus.com.  However, everything looks like it's up right now.  Server fix should be coming tonight.  If you still have these issues tomorrow you may want to head over to SE support.
