in Final Fantasy XIV
Do you guys know when would the game will be restocked on the website? I know I'm stupid for not pre-ordering the game but I'm really interested (even with the server woes).

    I have not seen any discussion about this at this stage as at the moment they are struggling with the people playing the game already (as I am sure you are aware). As a guess I would say if everything goes well with this server upgrade, possibly in the next couple of weeks. If it does not, just wait for a month, by then a large group of people will likely stopped playing so I am sure they will start selling again.

    I don't think it's going to take that long. That would be silly.

    Notice that they are not only upgrading current servers but they are opening new ones as well. Their interest is to get the servers running properly to allow all the current influx but it's safe to conclude that they want to keep selling their product ASAP too.

    My guess is they will re open online sales 1 or 2 days after the server upgrades.

    Well; we can all speculate on when they will actually start selling the digital download again, but the only sure thing would be if you actually went to the store and found a hard copy.  Might be easier said than done.  I think I got the last copy in the 2 towns between where I live and where I work.

    I imagine they'll start selling again within 24 hrs provided this ramp up works.  But I've seen nothing about it just yet.  Why not go to Gamestop (or the equivalent) to pick one up?  You ask nicely and tell'm you already know about the server stuff and most will be cool about it.

    Yeah, I went to the local Gamestops and there's nothing. I called Gamestops 70 miles away and again nothing :(

    Did you try Best Buy, Wal~Mart or any other retailers?  Sometimes they are a bit slow getting them in but might have them by now.  Or; you can gamble that the digital will be on sale again in a couple days, or you could just order the physical copy from Amazon or something and know you will have it.

    3 days ago I couldn't find a hard copy within 200 miles of my home. Granted I live in Montana. But I checked no less than 10 retailers.
